I am a printmaker, doing intaglio solarplate as my main work. I have done every type of printmaking but seem to really like the results I am getting with solarplate. I have been teaching this process for 5 years and am getting pretty good at it.

Zebra, the results
This is the final print on the zebra, the top one is on the smooth or correct side of the paper, the bottom one is on the rough or wrong side. I liked it on the rough side, but it sure was harder to print.
I came running over to see your blog as soon as I heard about it! Nice print, and so much fun to see the build of colors. I can't wait to hold this in my hands when Exchange #26 arrives at my house.
I look forward to seeing your solarplates, too. I don't know much about that process, but I do know that you are patient and generous in sharing your knowledge so it's sure to be a treat.
Boo-hoo, I'm not in an exchange yet. But I will be. 8-] Then I'll get great stuff like this. I love the critters on the rough side too. They look sharper. How so was it harder to print tho?
